Cuyahoga CC Brock Begue selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 11th round

With the 343rd pick of the Major League Baseball entry draft, the Milwaukee Brewers selected Cuyahoga Community College left handed pitcher Brock Begue. Begue, a 6-3, 210 pound sophomore from North Canton, OH lead the Triceratops to the NJCAA Region XII baseball tournament the last two seasons.
Hale's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Clark State Community College's victory over Cuyahoga Community College

Clark State Community College defeated Cuyahoga Community College 6-5 on Saturday thanks to a walk-off single. The game was tied at five with Clark State Community College batting in the bottom of the eighth when Reid Hale singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.
Owens CC baseball team enters Division III poll

The Owens Community College baseball team entered the NJCAA Division III baseball poll this week in the other school receiving votes category. The Express are 12-9 on the season and 3-5 in the OCCAC this season.

Nolan Hamilton, sophomore right handed pitcher of Mott Community College, has been named NJCAA Division II Pitcher of the Week. Hamilton threw a six inning no-hitter as the Bears beat Siena Heights University JV 11-0.

The Sinclair Community College baseball team remains ranked second in the NJCAA Division II Baseball poll this week. The Tartan Pride are 11-2 on the season after sweeping Macomb Community College on Tuesday.
Pionners' Schultz named NJCAA Division III Pitcher of the Week

Drew Schultz, a sophomore pitcher for Delta College, has been selected as the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week. Schultz recorded a 1-0 record in two games last week for the 5-6-1 Pioneers.

The Sinclair Community College is ranked third in NJCAA Region XII Division II pre-season baseball poll. The Tartan Pride went to the NJCAA Division II World Series last year and finished in fifth place.
