Pionners' Schultz named NJCAA Division III Pitcher of the Week
Drew Schultz, a sophomore pitcher for Delta College, has been selected as the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week. Schultz recorded a 1-0 record in two games last week for the 5-6-1 Pioneers. He threw eight innings last week, allowing just four hits, allowing one run which was unearned, walking two and striking out 13. Schultz big game was a 13-1 win over Vermilion Community College, where he threw a complete game, allowing four hits, one unearned runs, walking one and striking out 11 batters.
