Hocking's Azende Johnson tabbed as NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Player of the Week

For the second straight week a player from NJCAA Region XII has been named NJCAA DIvision III Men's Basketball Player of the Week. This week the honor goes to Hocking College freshman guard Azenda Johnson. Johnson scored 106 points in three games including dropping 47 on Lorain County Community College. He had 25 rebounds, 16 assists, eight steals and a block in the three games. He had a triple double against Westmoreland County Community College on Sunday with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Johnson was 38 of 59 from the floor, eight of 19 from the arc and 22 of 29 from the charity strip last week.
