NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll has Schoolcraft College ranked fourth

Schoolcraft College moved up one spot to number four in this week's NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll. The Ocelots are 8-0 on the season after beating Lansing Community College last Saturday. They will return to court tomorrow night when they will play Owens Community College in Toledo, OH. 

Mott Community College moved up one spot to number five in the poll. The Bears are 11-0 on the season after beating Owens Community College last night. In their only game last week they beat Lansing Community College. The Bears next game is on Saturday, December 29 when the host Kellogg Community College. 

Delta College also moved up one spot in this week rankings to number six. The Pioneers are 9-0 on the season after beating Jackson College and Muskegon Community College last week. They are off until they open MCCAA Eastern Conference play on January 3, 2019 by hosting Macomb Community College. 

St. Clair County Community College vaulted up seven spots to number 13 in the poll. The Skippers are 11-1 on the season after beating both Lake Michigan College and Harper (IL) College on the road. They will return to action tomorrow night when they face Lansing Community College. 

Lakeland Community College cracks the top 20 for the first time this season at number 18. The Lakers are 11-2 for the 2018-19 campaign after beating both Genesee (NY) Community College and Niagara (NY) County Community College last weekend. Both of those teams were in the other school receiving votes category. The Lakers are off until Saturday, January 5th when they will host Niagara (NY) County Community College. 

Cuyahoga Community College dropped out of the top 20 and into the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Challengers are 10-4 on the season after losing to both Community College of Baltimore County Dundalk and Cecil (MD) College. Their next contest is Saturday when they host Lansing Community College. 

Ancilla College rounds out the Region XII school in the poll as they are in other schools receiving votes category again this week. The Chargers are 8-2 on the season after beating Indiana Institute of Technology JV in their only game. They are off until Thursday, January 3rd when they host Lake Michigan College in the MCCAA Western Conference opener both schools.
