Schoolcraft falls two spots to number three in latest NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll

Schoolcraft College is down two spots in this week's NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll this week. The former number one team is 16-1 overall and 7-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference entering the week. They defeated Oakland Community College last night after losing their only game last week to then number nine Mott Community College in overtime. They will return to action tomorrow night when they host Macomb Community College. 

Mott Community College moved up one spot to number eight after they defeated then number one Schoolcraft College in overtime in their only game last week. They entered the week with a 17-2 overall and 5-2 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They defeated Macomb Community College last week and will play on Wednesday at Wayne County Community College District. 

St. Clair County Community College dropped two spots this week is to number 18. The Skippers are 18-4 overall and 5-3 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference after losing their only game last week to Henry Ford College. They will return to the hardwood tomorrow night when they host Alpena Community College. 

Edison State Community College re-enters the top 20 this week at number 19. The Chargers are 17-4 overall and 6-3 in the OCCAC after going 2-0 last week. They defeated Columbus State Community College at Lakeland Community College on back to back days last weekend. They will be back in action tomorrow when they face Hocking College in Nelsonville, OH. 

Cuyahoga Community College dropped three spots to number 20 this week. The Triceratops are 16-5 overall and 7-1 in the OCCAC after losing to Clark State Community College in their only game last week. They will return to the court tomorrow when they face Lorain County Community College in Elryia, OH

Henry Ford College re-enters the poll in the other schools receiving votes this week. The Hawks are 15-7 overall and 7-2 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference after going 2-0 last week beating the number #16 - St. Clair County Community College and Alpena Community College. They will host Oakland Community College on Wednesday night for their next game.
