Mott men's basketball vaults five spots to number ten in latest NJCAA Division II rankings

The Mott Community College men's basketball team moved a five spots in the latest NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll to number ten. The Bears are 24-3 overall and are tied for first in the MCCAA Eastern Conference with a 13-2 record. They have beat Delta College, Oakland Community and Macomb Community College since the last poll. Mott returns to action tonight when they travel to face Delta College. 

St. Clair County Community College dropped one spot to number 13 in this week. They Skippers are 24-5 overall and 11-4 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They beat Delta College before falling to then number two Schoolcraft College and Wayne County Community College District. They will close out the regular season tonight when they travel to face Henry Ford College. 

Cuyahoga Community College jumps three spots this week to number 14 in the poll. The Triceratops are 23-5 overall and are the OCCAC Conference Champions with 13-1 conference record. They went 2-0 last week beating Bryant & Stratton College and Columbus State Community College. Cuyahoga returns to action tonight when they host Sinclair Community College. 

Edison State Community College remains ranked 16th again this week. The Chargers are 24-5 overall and 11-4 in the OCCAC. They beat Owens Community College before falling to Lakeland Community College last week. They will close out the regular season on Saturday when they host #14 - Cuyahoga Community College. 

Schoolcraft College falls into the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Ocelots are 4-20 overall and 4-11 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They have won their last three games beating Henry Ford College, then #12 - St. Clair County Community College and Alpena Community College. They will close out their season by hosting Oakland Community College tonight. 

Lakeland Community College reenters the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Lakers are 22-6 overall and 11-4 in the OCCAC. They were 2-0 last week beating Lorain County Community College and number 16 Edison State Community College. They will return to the hardwood on Saturday when they travel to face Sinclair Community College.
