Newman named NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Schoolcraft College forward has been named the NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Newman scored five goals in one match and had five goals in three assists in two matches last week. He score the five goals in the Ocelots 9-0 victory over Lake Michigan College, including a successful penalty kick. He also had an assist in the game on seven shots. He will look to lead Schoolcraft College again today when they face Jackson College on the road in a key MCCAA match up.
