Kipkoech, Grand Rapids win NJCAA Region XII Division II men's cross country titles

The Grand Rapids Community College men's cross country team won their first ever NJCAA Region XII Division II men's cross country title in school history. The Raiders had won four Division I titles, the last in 1969. The Raiders finished just ahead of Jackson College. Macomb Community College finished third, St. Clair County Community College was fourth and Oakland Community College finished fifth. The race was run on Saturday at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, MI. 

On the individual side, Joshua Kipkoech of Grand Rapids won the race in a time of 26:10.2, one minute ahead of Drew Mayes of St. Clair County Community College. Collin McNulty of Macomb was third, while Ethan Rice of Oakland was fourth. Nolan Herr of Mott Community College finished the eight kilometer race fifth. The top 17 runners earned NJCAA Region XII DIvision II All-Region honors. The full list is linked below. 

The NJCAA Division II National Championship will be run in Fort Dodge, IA on November 14, 2020 and hosted by Iowa Central Community College.
