Mid Michigan moves up five spots in first Division II women's basketball poll of 2019

The Mid Michigan College women's basketball team moved up five spots in the NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll to number 13. The Lakers, who were 18th in the last poll in December, are 11-0 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They have gone 2-0 since the last poll in Mid-December by defeating Grand Rapids Community College and Lansing Community. The are back in action on Wendesday when the are in Centreville, MI to face Glen Oaks Community College. 

Sinclair Community College dropped six spot to number 15 in the poll. The Tartan Pride ar 11-2 overall and 2-0 in the OCCAC so far this season. They have went 1-2 since the December 18 poll. They lost to Jackson College and Wayne County Community College District before bouncing back to beat Danville (IL) Area Community College on Saturday. They return to the court on Wednesday when the face Division III number nine Owens Community College in Perrysburg, OH.
