Muskegon, Mid Michigan remain steady in latest NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll

The Muskegon Community College women's basketball team is ranked 14th in the second straight NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Jayhawks are 16-2 overall and 8-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference entering this week. They beat Jackson College last week in their only game last week and defeated Lake Michigan College last night. They will return to the hardwood on Wednesday night when the host Ancilla College. 

Mid Michigan College remains at number 18 this week as well. The Lakers entered the week with a 15-1 overall record and a 6-1 record in the MCCAA Western Conference. They were idle all last week to the snow and cold weather but lost to Kalamazoo Valley Community College last night. Their next game is Wednesday night when the host Lansing Community College. 

Sinclair Community College is in the other schools receiving votes again this week. They Tartan Pride are 15-3 overall and 5-1 in the OCCAC. They beat Bryant & Stratton College in their only game last week. The hit the court again tomorrow host Owens Community College, who is in the other schools receiving votes category in the Division III poll.
