Owens CC women's basketball team in other schools receiving votes category again this week
The Owens Community College women's basketball team is in the other schools receiving votes again this week in the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Poll. The Express are 22-8 overall and have clinched a share of the OCCAC title with a 14-2 record. They went 2-0 last week beating Edison State Community College and Clark State Community College. Monday night they won the NJCAA Region XII Division III Championship beating Columbus State Community College. Owens will play in the NJCAA District B Championship on Saturday afternoon when they host number nine Rock Valley (IL) College. The winner will advance to the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Tournament.
