Latest NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Poll has Muskegon CC at number 11

The Muskegon Community College women's basketball team moved up one spot in this week's NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll to number 11. They Jayhawks are 23-3 overall and 15-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They were 3-0 since the last poll, beating Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Glen Oaks Community College and Mid Michigan College. They will return action tonight when they travel to #20 - Lake Michigan College in a game that will determine the MCCAA Western Conference Championship. 

Lake Michigan College moves into the top 20 this week at number 20 in the this week's poll. The Red Hawks are 23-5 overall and tied for first in the MCCAA Western Conference with a 15-2 record. They have won their last three games beating Grand Rapids Community College, Lansing Community College and Glen Oaks Community College. They will return to the hardwood tonight when they host #11 - Muskegon Community College for the MCCAA Western Conference Title. 

Edison State Community College remains in the other schools receiving votes category again this week. The Chargers are 24-5 overall and 11-4 in the OCCAC so far this season. They went 1-1 last week, losing to Owens Community College before rebounding to beat Lakeland Community College. They will return to the court on Saturday when they host Cuyahoga Community College in their final regular season game. 

Mid Michigan College also remains in the other schools receiving votes category. The Lakers are 22-4 overall and 13-4 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They are 2-1 since the last poll beating Kellogg Community College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College before losing to the #12 - Muskegon Community College. They return to action tonight when they travel to face Jackson College. 

Sinclair Community College falls out of the top 20 this week into the other schools receiving votes category. The Tartan Pride are 22-4 overall and 12-2 in the OCCAC. They beat Clark State Community College and Lorain County Community College. They will return to the court tonight when travel to face Cuyahoga Community College.
