Five NJCAA Region XII Division III volleyball players earn NJCAA All-American Honors

NJCAA Region XII Division III volleyball had quite a year, Owens Community College won the NJCAA Division III National Title. Lorain County Community College finished fifth in in the National Tournament and Columbus State Community College was ranked in the top five for a good portion of the season.
Owens CC claims NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championship with a five set win over Eastland College

The Owens Community College women's volleyball team claimed their first volleyball National Championship in school history. The Express defeated Eastfield (TX) College in five sets tonight at the Regional Sports Center in Rochester, MN to win the NJCAA Division III Volleyball National Championship.

Fresh off a 3-0 sweep of Columbus State Community College last weekend, the Owens Community College volleyball team jumped two spot to number one in the latest NJCAA Division III Volleyball Poll. The Express are 31-6 overall and have won the OCCAC title with a 15-0 record.

Columbus State Community College freshman outside hitter Bobby Diamond has been named NJCAA Division III Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. This is the second week in a row that a Cougars has earned this honor. Last week, Edan Jones earned the same honor for Columbus State.
