Grand Rapids falls one spot in this week's Division II volleyball poll

The Grand Rapids Community College women's volleyball team went 2-0 last week but still feel one spot to number five in this week's NJCAA Division II women's volleyball poll. The Raiders are 7-1 overall and are 4-0 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference. They defeated both Lake Michigan College and Ancilla College in straight sets last week. They will travel to Battle Creek tonight to face Kellogg Community College and will try to run their winning streak to four matches.

Muskegon Community College held steady at number 14 after going 1-0 last week. They are 9-5 overall and 3-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference after beating Glen Oaks Community College. They will face Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor tonight.

Edison Community College remains in the other schools receiving votes category again this week. The Chargers are 9-0 overall and 2-0 in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference. They won their only match last week, a non-conference tilt against Clark State Community College. The Chargers will travel to Columbus tomorrow night to face Division III number three Columbus State Community College.
