Owens CC drops one spot to number two in the NJCAA Division III rankings.

The Owens Community College women's volleyball team went 1-0 last week but slipped to number two in the NJCAA Division III women's volleyball poll. The Express, who are 12-1 overall and 2-0 in the OCCAC, were ranked number one last week. They defeated Lakeland Community College last week and are also 2-0 in the NJCAA Region XII Division III standings. They will face Cuyahoga Community College on Wednesday at the SHAC on the Owens Campus. 

Columbus State Community College remains third in the rankings this week. The Cougars are 8-0 overall and 2-0 in the OCCAC after going 2-0 last week defeating Edison State Community College and Ohio University-Chillicothe. The will return to the court on Wednesday night when they host another Division III and OCCAC school, Hocking College. 

Lorain County Community College dropped one spot this week to number seven in this week's poll. The Commodores are 8-4 overall and 1-0 in the OCCAC. They went 4-1 last week, defeating Terra State CC, Cuyahoga CC, St. Clair County CC and Mercyhust North East before falling to Sinclair CC. They will return to action on Wednesday when they host Lakeland Community College.
