Kellogg, Lorain County battle for NJCAA Region XII Division III women's championship on Saturday
Two women's cross country teams will compete on Saturday for the NJCAA Region XII Division III women's cross country championship at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, MI. Kellogg Community College and Lorain County Community College will battle for that title on Saturday. Kellogg is lead by Emma Berning, who has finished has high as fourth this season in races that were largely full of Division II runners. The Bruins will be looking for their second Region XII Division III championship and first since 2018. Lorain County CC is lead by Mackenzie Glass who finished third in her last race. The Commodores, who are ranked third in the NJCAA, will be looking for their fourth title since 2012 and first since 2017. There is no defending champion due to the fact no team finished five runners last season.
