Muskegon moves on with 94-70 win over Kellogg CC

The eighth ranked Muskegon Community College men's basketball team cruised to a 94-70 win over Kellogg Community College this afternoon in the NJCAA Division II Great Lakes West Men's Basketball District Semi-Final. Muskegon took the lead early, had a 55-32 halftime leak and never looked back.

The Jayhawks are lead by Jermone Bivins with 26 points and ten rebounds, while Jermayne Goliday had 24 points and seven rebounds. Julian Walker chipped in 11 points, while Kylan Shipp had ten points. Christian Simmons had seven points and seven assist for the Jayhawks.

Kellogg CC was paced by Rom Jamierson with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Dashaan Palmer had 12 points and 17 rebounds. The Bruins conclude their season with a 14-17 record. 

The Jayhawks, who are 25-4, advance to the championship game on Saturday at 5:30 PM against Ancilla College.
