Lansing CC men's cross country wins NJCAA Region XII Division I Championship for second straight year
The Lansing Community College men's cross country team won the NJCAA Region XII Division I Men's Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, MI. The Stars claimed the top three spots and four of the top five spots on the way to scoring 20 points. Mott Community College was second with 81 points, while Grand Rapids Community College finished third with 117 points. It was Lansing CC 14th Region XII Division I Championship.
Dillian Haviland of Lansing Community College won the five mile race in a time of 25:48.0, while teammate Jacob Ferguson was second in a time of 26:28.2. Christopher Davis of Lansing was third, while David Carnago of Macomb Community College was fourth. Lansing's Joel Fudge was fifth, while Mark Wood of Mott was sixth. The top 17 finishers were named All-Region.
