Mid Michigan women's basketball cracks top 20 in this week's NJCAA Division II poll

The Mid Michigan Community College women's basketball cracks the top 20 in this week's NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll at number 16. The Lakers are 5-0 so far this season after going 2-0 last week. They defeated both Grand Rapids Community College and Mott Community College last week. They return to the court tonight when they host Alma College JV. 

Edison State Community College drops six spots to number 17 in the this week's poll. The Chargers are 6-1 on the season after beating Cedarville University JV last night. They went 1-1 last week after losing to Mott Community College and beating Schoolcraft College. Edison State returns to action on Wednesday, December 4 when they travel to face Clark State Community College in an OCCAC tilt. 

Macomb Community College enters the top 20 at a tie for number 19. The Monarchs are 9-0 last night after routing Washtenaw Community College. They will return to action Friday, December 6 when they travel to face Aquinas College JV. 

Mott Community College is in the other schools receiving votes category this week in the poll. The Bears are 6-1 overall after going 2-1 last week. They defeated then number 11 Edison State Community College and Grand Rapids Community College before falling to Mid Michigan College. They will hit the hardwood again on Wednesday, December 4 when they travel to face Kellogg Community College.
