Mid Michigan women's basketball up to 11 in final NJCAA Division II poll of the decade

The Mid Michigan College women's basketball team jumped up three spots this week in the latest NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Lakers are 10-0 on the season after a win over Concordia University JV. They have closed out the 2019 portion of their schedule and be off until Saturday, January 4, 2020 when they travel to Muskegon CC to open the MCCAA Western Conference schedule. 

Macomb Community College also moved up three spots this week to number 14. The Monarchs are 12-0 on the season after beating Lansing Community College last Friday. They will close out the non-conference portion of their schedule on Thursday night when they host Owens Community College. 

Lakleand Community College breaks into the top 20 this week in a tie for 19th. The Lakers are 11-1 on the season after beating both Delta College and Schoolcraft College last week. They will be back on the court on Thursday night when they host St. Clair County Community College. 

Mott Community College is in the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Bears are 10-2 after beating then number 16 - Edison State Community College and Grand Rapids Community College. However, the fell to Kalamazoo Valley Community College to start the week. They will close out their non-conference schedule tonight when they travel to face Lansing Community College. 

Cuyahoga Community College is in the other schools receiving votes category for the second week. They Challengers are 10-1 on the season and 1-1 in the OCCAC after going 2-0 last week. They beat Montgomery (MD) College and Hostos Community College. They are done with the 2019 portion of the schedule. Cuyahoga will return to action on Sunday, January 5 when they travel to face Community College of Beaver County.
