Mid Michigan College women's basketball checks in at number ten in NJCAA Division II poll

The Mid Michigan College women's basketball team moved up one spot to number ten in this week's NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Lakers are 13-0 overall and 3-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They were 2-0 last week defeating Grand Rapids Community College and Lake Michigan College. They return to the hardwood on Wednesday when they travel to face Kalamazoo Valley Community College. 

Lakeland Community College spends their second week at number 13 in the poll. The Lakers are 14-1 overall and 3-0 in the OCCAC after going 2-0 last week defeating Bryant & Stratton College and Sinclair Community College. They return to action on Wednesday, when they host Lorain County Community College. 

Macomb Community College spends their third week at number 14 this week. The Monarchs are 15-0 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They were undefeated in two games last week after beating St. Clair County Community College and Schoolcraft College. They will hit the court again on Wednesday when they travel to face Delta College in and Eastern Conference match up. 

Mott Community College cracks the top 20 this week after spending the last seven week's in the other schools receiving votes category. The Bears, who are ranked 20th this week, were 1-0 last week beating Henry Ford College. They will be back in action on Wednesday when they host St. Clair County Community College.
