Edison State women's basketball cruises to 26 point victory in NJCAA Great Lakes South Semi-Final

The 20th ranked Edison State Community College women's basketball dispatched Cuyahoga Community College 86-60 in the semi-finals of the NJCAA Division II Great Lakes South District Championship. The Chargers has a 40-28 halftime lead and never looked back. 

Edison State was lead by Allison Siefring with 23 points and 14 rebounds, while Maddy Bakosh chipped in 18 points and five assists. Mariha Baker had 12 points and six rebounds. Audra Schaub tossed in 11 points, while Sarah Pothast had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win. 

The Challengers were led by Kayla Young with 17 points and six rebounds, while Ja'Lynn Starks had 14 points, Chy'Rah Smith-Isom tossed 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Cuyahoga's season ends with a 17-10 record. 

Edison, who are 27-3, move on the the NJCAA Division II Great Lakes South District Championship tomorrow at 12 PM against either Sincliar Community College or Lakeland Community College
