Owens still second, Columbus State still third in NJCAA Division III volleyball poll
The Owens Community College volleyball team held status quo again this week as they remained ranked number two in the NJCAA Division III Volleyball poll. The Express are 23-3 overall and 9-0 in the OCCAC after going 3-2 last week. The Express beat Edison State Community College, Lincoln Land Community College and McHenry County College before falling to both Division II number one Parkland College and Division II then number nine Illinois Central College. They to the hardwood tomorrow night when they host Lakeland Community College in an OCCAC match.
Columbus State Community College also held steady this week at number three. The Cougars are 16-3 overall and 8-2 in the OCCAC. They 1-2 last week beating Ohio University-Chillicothe but losing to Otterbein University JV and Sinclair Community College. They return to action tomorrow night when they host OCCAC opponent Edison State Community College.
