Owens CC volleyball reclaims top spot in NJCAA Division III women's volleyball poll

After four weeks spent in the number two spot, Owens Community College women's volleyball is ranked number one in this week's NJCAA Division III volleyball poll. The Express are 27-4 overall and in first place in the OCCAC with a 10-0 record. They went 4-1 last week, defeating Lakeland CC, Spartanburg Methodist College,  Division II #3 - Catawba Valley (NC) CC and Northern Virginia CC before falling to Division I #12 - Wallace State (AL) CC-Hanceville. They will return to the court on Wednesday when they travel to face Cuyahoga Community College in an OCCAC match up. 

Columbus State Community College remains third in the poll this week. The Cougars are 18-6 overall and 9-2 in the OCCAC. They went 2-3 last week, beating Edison State Community College and Harper (IL) College. They fell to Division II number eight Illinois Central College, as well as Division II Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Sauk Valley Community College. They will return to action tomorrow night when they host Clark State Community College.
