Owens remains atop the NJCAA Division III women's volleyball poll for the third straight week

The Owens Community College women's volleyball team is ranked number one again this week in the NJCAA Division III women's volleyball poll. The Express, who are 33-4 overall and 15-0 in the OCCAC, are the unanimous choice as number one for the second week. They went 2-0 last week beating Terra State Community College and Clark State Community College. They will return to action on Wednesday, when they conclude the regular season at Sinclair Community College. On Saturday, they will host the NJCAA Region XII Division III volleyball championship. They are the number one seed and will face fourth seed Schoolcraft College at 1:00 PM. Winner will face the winner of Lorain County CC and Columbus State Community College at 3 PM. 

Columbus State Community College is ranked third in the in the poll for the eighth straight week. The Cougars are 21-7 overall and 12-3 in the OCCAC as they beat Lakeland Community College in their only game last week. They will close out the regular season on Wednesday, when they travel to face OCCAC rival Cuyahoga Community College. On Satruday, they will play in the NJCAA Region XII Division III Division III volleyball championship at Owens Community College in Perrysburg, OH. They will be the number two seed and face third seeded Lorain County Community College at 1 PM. Winner will face either number one Owens Community College or Schoolcraft College in the championship at 3 PM.
