Kellogg CC, Wilkerson win NJCAA Region XII Division III women's cross country titles.
The Kellogg Community College women's cross country team won the their second NJCAA Region XII Division II women's cross country championship in three years. The Bruins took the top three places to win the event that was held at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, MI on Saturday. Lorain County Community College was second. Kellogg' coach Erin Lane was name Region XII Division III Coach of the Year.
Hannah Wilkinson of Kellogg won the race in a time of 20:43.2 for the five kilometer course. Emma Berning of Kellogg Community College was second and Kennedy Vanderlugt, also from Kellogg was third. All three earned All-Region honors. Kelsy Gannon and Mackenzie Glass of Lorain County rounded out the top five.
The NJCAA Division III National Championship is on November 14, 2020 at Fort Dodge, IA. Iowa Central Community College is the host.
