Hocking College's Smith earns 1st Team Football All-American honors
Freshman punter Morgan Smith has become Hocking College's second ever NJCAA Division III Football All-American. Smith, who punted 43 times in nine games, had an average of 38;7 yards per punt. He buried seven inside the 20 and only had one touchback. His long punt was 62 yards for the 6-3 Hawks. Last season, linebacker Izayah Aekins became the first Hawk ever and the first Region XII player since 2011-12 to earn All-American honors.
