Henry Ford moves up to number four, leads six Region XII team in the top 20

The Henry Ford College men's basketball team moved up one spot in this week's poll and are currently fourth with a record of 12-4 overall and 3-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. The Hawks won their last two games over Oakland Community College and Kirtland Community College. The Hawks will be playing in their next two contests against Jackson College on January 25th at 7:30 PM and Schoolcraft College on January 28th at 3:00 PM.

Lakeland Community College men's basketball team is undefeated in the conference and has an overall record of 15-3. The Lakers moved up two spots in the poll and are now ranked seventh. The Lakers won their last two games against Cuyahoga Community College and Owens Community College. This week the Lakers will be playing Owens Community College on January 25th at 7:30 PM and Edison State Community College on January 28th at 1:00 PM.

St. Clair County Community College men's basketball team moved up two spots within the polls leaving them ranked eighth. The Skippers are 16-2 on the season and have a conference record of 2-1. They won their last two contests over Oakland Community College and Jackson College. This week the Skippers will be playing against number 11 Macomb Community College on January 25th at 7:30 PM and Wayne County Community College on January 28th at 3:00 PM. 

Mott Community College men's moved up five spot this week to ninth. The Bears have a record of 15-3 and are currently undefeated in the conference. The Bears won their last two games against Schoolcraft College and then sixth ranked Macomb Community College. The Bears will be playing Wayne County Community College on January 25th at 7:30 PM and over the weekend against Jackson College on January 28th at 3:00 PM. 

Macomb Community College dropped five spots to number 11. The Monarchs are 1-2 in conference play and have an overall record of 13-5. The Monarchs lost their last two games against then number five Henry Ford College and then number 14 Mott Community College. The Monarchs will be competing in two games this week first playing number eight St. Clair County Community College on January 25th at 7:00 PM followed by a game against Oakland Community College on January 28th at 3:00 PM.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College men's basketball team moved out of the other teams receiving votes and are now in the top 20 at number 17. The Cougars are undefeated in the conference and have an overall record of 15-3. The Cougars won their last two contests against Lansing Community College and Kellogg Community College. The Cougars will be playing Southwestern Michigan College on January 25th at 7:30 PM and Marian University's Ancilla College on January 28th at 3:00 PM.
