Bio

Men's Cross Country head coach Joe Dimambro was born in Flint and raised in Fenton, where he competed in both cross country and track.  He continued his academic and running career at Michigan State University, where he was a 4-time varsity member of the cross country and track & field programs. He graduated from MSU in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, specifically psychological aspects of sport.

 After college, Joe returned to Flint and began working at the Crim Fitness Foundation. In March of 2021, Joe became the Director of Races & training at the Crim and is a certified instructor of the Search

Inside Yourself leadership training. Joe has been involved in the Mott Cross Country program since 2013, serving as an assistant coach and eventually becoming head coach in 2018. Joe has been a part of the program's continued success, extending a long streak of NJCAA National qualifying individuals and teams, Joe is an avid runner and Flint resident. He is the proud father of two daughters.
