Lansing CC defeats Edison State CC 16-0 in Regional Tournament second round opener
Lansing Community College scored four unearned runs in the first inning and never look back cruising to a 16-0 five inning win over Edison State Community College in the opening game of the second round of the NJCAA Region XII Division II Baseball Championship. A two out error opened the door to a four run first inning for the Stars. Lansing then scored two in the second, six in the third and four in the fourth. Shane Juday led the attack going 3 for 4 with two RBI for the Stars. Blake McRae was two for four with a double, two runs scored and three RBI. Elijah Stark picked up the win of Lansing tossing a complete game two hitter, striking out five and allowing no walks. Edison State's Jaren Slusher took the loss.
