Tops lose late

Metro Campus: -- Joel Webb scored 18 points, Adisa Molton had 17, and Devonte Green chipped in 14 on Saturday afternoon but it was not enough as the Tops fell (4-3, 2-0) to the Cats of Erie Community College.

Both teams shot over 50% from the floor with the Tops holding a slim 43-40 halftime lead. The second half was back and forth with both teams taking leads. A late three-pointer by Erie Community College helped them secure the win. The Tops had a chance to respond but could not get a quality shot off in the final seconds.

Tops are now 4-3 and 2-0 in conference play. Xavier Vann led the team with nine rebounds (10 pts) and five assists. Webb shot 50% from deep and the team shot 60.7% as a team.
