Region XII Division II Golf Honors Announced; OCC's Fenech is Individual Medalist, Grand Rapids Wins Team Title
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- The 2024 Region XII Division II Men's Golf Championship was held May 13-14 at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek and the consistent Raiders of Grand Rapids Community College came away as team champions, while Oakland Community College's Mike Fench took home individual medalist honors. Oakland Community College finished as runner-up while Muskegon checked in third as a team. The top three teams of Grand Rapids, Oakland and Muskegon all qualifed for the NJCAA Division II National Championship. Cody Meigs of Kirtland Community College and Cole Koenig of Glen Oaks Community College qualified for nationals as individuals.
The top nine finishers at the 2024 Region XII Division II Championship earned a spot on the All-Region Team. The 2024 All-Region Team was comprised of:

- Cody Meigs, Kirtland Community College
- Dylan Lisman, Muskegon Community College

- Tyler Simpson, St. Clair County Community College *
* Finished tied for 7th prior to tie-breaker procedures for final standings/region scoring.
