Macomb CC women's basketball up to number seven in this week's NJCAA Division II poll

The Macomb Community College women's basketball team moved up one spot to number seven in this week's NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Monarchs are 20-0 overall and 7-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference after beating number 17 Mott Community College on Monday. They went 2-0 last week defeating Oakland Community College and Wayne County Community College District last week. They are back in action tonight when they travel to face Alpena Community College. 

Lakeland Community College is ranked 12th in the latest poll. The Lakers are 17-1 overall and 6-0 in the OCCAC. They went 2-0 last week beating Cuyahoga Community College and Division III #13 - Columbus State Community College. They will be on the court tonight when they host Owens Community College. 

Mid Michigan College dropped to number 15 this week. The Lakers are 17-1 overall and 7-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference after beating Ancilla College on Monday. They were 2-1 last week losing to Kellogg Community College before beating Jackson College and Glen Oaks Community College. They will be back on the hardwood tonight when they hit the road to face Lansing Community College. 

Mott Community College moved up one spot to number 17 in the poll. The Bears are 16-3 overall and 5-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference after falling to number seven Macomb Community College on Monday. They went 2-0 last week beating Wayne County Community College District and Oakland Community College. They will host Schoolcraft College tonight for the next game. 

Edison State Community College is in the other schools receiving votes in this week rankings. The Chargers are 17-2 overall and 6-0 in the OCCAC. They went 2-0 last week beating Owens Community College and Lorain County Community College last week. They will travel to Dayton tonight to face Sinclair Community College.
