Grand Rapids tenth, Glen Oaks CC 15th in first Divison II regular season volleyball poll
The Grand Rapids Community College women's volleyball team is ranked tenth in the first regular season NJCAA Division II volleyball poll. The Raiders, who where ranked ninth in the pre-season rankings, are 7-3 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They went 4-1 last week with their only loss coming to then number two Parkland (IL) College. They will return to the court tomorrow night when they travel to face Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Glen Oaks Community College debuts in the poll at number 15 after open the season with ten straight wins. The Vikings are 10-0 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They have defeated Division II #12 - Lincoln Lake (IL) Community College and have given Division III top ranked Owens Community College their only loss. They have dropped just six sets all season. They will host Jackson College tomorrow nigh for their next match.
