Grand Rapids CC moves up to number 15 in this week's NJCAA Division II volleyball poll

The Grand Rapids Community College women's volleyball team moved up on spot this weekend to number 15 in the NJCAA Division II women's volleyball poll. The Raiders 25-6 overall and won the MCCAA Western Conference championship with a 14-1 record. They were 2-0 last week, beating Ancilla College and Jackson College. They will close out the regular season tonight on the road at Glen Oaks Community College. Grand Rapids will host the MCCAA Volleyball Championship on Saturday when Eastern Conference number one seed Mott Community College will be a Ford Fieldhouse. 

Lansing Community College debuts in the poll this week in the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Stars are 23-6 overall and tied for second in the MCCAA Western Conference with a 12-3 record. They were 2-0 last week defeating Glen Oaks Community College and Ancilla College. They will close out the regular season when they host Muskegon Community College tonight. The winner of the match will earn the outright possession of second place.
