Cuyahoga Community College claims first ever NJCAA Region XII Division I Women's Cross Country Championship

For the first time in school history the Cuyahoga Community College women's cross country team is the NJCAA Region XII Division I women's cross country champions. The Triceratops place five runners in the top ten for 35 points to beat Lansing Community College who posted a score of 53 points. Muskegon Community College finished third with 68 points. 

Lansing Community College Claudia Baryo was the individual champions, finishing the five kilometer race in at time of 19:18.6, just 11 seconds ahead of Grace Sweet of Muskegon. Renae Osbourne of Jackson was next, while Caludia Mendek of Cuyahoga Community College finished fourth in a time of 19:40.6. Anne Lyon of Lansing was fifth, the next three runners were Triceratops, Hannah Heath, Hailey Vitolo and Hope Brown. The top 17 finishers earned All-Region honors.
