Kellogg Earns Program's Fifth Region XII Division III Championship, Lorain County's Palmer Crowned Race Champion
GOODELLS – Kellogg Community College, the No. 6 ranked team in the latest USTFCCCA Poll, secured the 2024 NJCAA Region XII Division III Women's Cross Country Championship on Friday (Oct. 25) with an impressive team effort. The Region XII Division III Championship was the fourth since 2020 for the Bruins and the fifth overall for the program.
Brenna Withers led the way for the Bruins with an All-Region time of 21:10.0 to finish 22nd overall in a loaded field of primarily Division II competition. Chloe Badger was next at 23:26.0 and also earned All-Region honors, while Libby Butchart followed at 24:21.8. Olivia Butler was the fourth scoring member for the Bruins on Friday with a time of 24:56.7 and Jaiden Anderson rounded out the scoring at the 26:19.3 mark.
Lorain County Community College's Madison Palmer won her second NJCAA Region XII Division III Race Championship in as many seasons with a time of 19:40.4 to finish in the top 10 overall of Saturday's race. The effort led the 2023 NJCAA Division III All-American to All-Region honors.
